Build Ural 2021 exhibition started on April 20

On April 20-22, the exhibition of building, finishing materials and engineering equipment Build Ural is taking place at the IEC "Yekaterinburg-EXPO".

The grand opening of the exhibition was attended by Maxim Viktorovich Puchkov, Deputy Minister of Construction and Infrastructure Development of the Sverdlovsk Region; Alexey Andreevich Koryukov, Chairman of the Construction Committee of the Yekaterinburg Administration; Anatoliy Alexandrovich Praslov, Chief Specialist of the Civil Protection Department of the Committee of Administrative Bodies of the Administration of Yekaterinburg; Daniil Gennadievich Danilov, head of the branch in Yekaterinburg, Hermann Russia LLC, Fyodor Andreevich Savinov, CEO of Woodstock; Tatyana Aleksandrovna Sergeeva, director of a separate subdivision of MVK in Yekaterinburg, after which they were given an excursion and introduced the exhibitors.

This year more over than 80 exhibitors from Sverdlovsk, Moscow, Orenburg, Omsk, Pskov regions — more than 18 regions of Russia and foreign countries presented materials and equipment from Russian and foreign manufacturers (Germany, USA, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Czech Republic, Norway). The participants presented building materials and equipment, finishing and decorative materials, facade and roofing materials, doors, windows, engineering, and heating equipment, electrical products.

A business program was organized for the guests of the exhibition, which covers the topics of construction and design.

Within the framework of the Build Ural business program, the Department of Architecture, Urban Planning, and Regulation of Land Relations of the Administration of Yekaterinburg together with the developers — Senior Lecturer of the Department of Urban Construction of the UrFU Larisa Bannikova presented the Standard for the Integrated Improvement of Yekaterinburg Street and Road Network Objects. As part of the presentation, the developers presented the purpose and structure of the document, aspects of creating a comfortable environment from the point of view of the Standard, and standardized elements and units of improvement.

On the first day of the Build Ural exhibition within the framework of the Design Space Forum of Designers and Architects, speakers — recognized experts in the field of design, construction, and architecture, presented such topics as:

• “Business and creativity. How to distribute your strength and responsibilities in the studio” — Pavel Gerasimov, founder of the Geometrium studio
• “How to convince customers not to be afraid of bold decisions in the interior” — Alena Gorskaya, chief designer, head of the design bureau, member of the Union of Designers of Russia
• Panel discussion “Design in the regions: how a designer can promote their ideas and develop the design industry in their city”
• “10 useful tools for design management” — Olga Starikova, interior designer, winner of INTERIA AWARDS 2019
• “Design team: remote work, delegation, and task setting. Problems and their solutions” — Anastasia Stefanovich, architect, included in the list of 200 best Russian designers according to Elledecor
• “Wood in an Interior” — Fedor Savinov, CEO of Woodstock
• “Trends and their interpretation in interior design. Should you follow them? ” — Sergey Tregubov, designer-decorator, TV presenter, author, and host of the television project “School of Repair” on TNT
